What is Exodus Web3 Wallet?
Exodus Web3 Wallet combines a polished user interface with built-in access to decentralized applications, asset swaps, portfolio tracking, and simple backup mechanisms. It emphasizes ease-of-use while preserving control over private keys and seed phrases. This demo highlights core flows and security considerations without collecting credentials.
Core capabilities
Track balances, token metadata, and portfolio value across multiple chains in one unified view.
Connect to Web3 applications securely via injected provider or WalletConnect integrations.
Swap assets easily inside the wallet using integrated liquidity providers and routing.
Where supported, buy/sell crypto using fiat partners without leaving the wallet UI.
Why no email/password?
This demo intentionally omits email and password fields. Exodus often uses local wallet encryption, seed phrases, and optional cloud backups (encrypted) — but credential collection is not required to demonstrate core wallet flows. Real authentication should follow secure server-side practices when needed.
Onboarding (demo flow)
- Download or open the Web3 wallet interface from the official Exodus domain.
- Create a new wallet: write down the recovery seed and verify backup steps.
- Optionally enable local encryption and set a strong PIN for quick unlock on device or browser profile.
- Explore built-in swaps, connect to a DApp, and try a small test transaction first.
Security tips
- Never share your seed phrase or private keys. Store backups offline on paper or metal.
- Confirm recipient addresses on the transaction review screen and consider small test transactions for new addresses.
- Use hardware wallets for higher-value holdings and connect them via supported integrations.
- Keep browser and wallet extensions up to date; prefer official browser extensions or the desktop app when available.
